Firefighter Survival Skills Demo planned for Jefferosn Day

    Jefferson Township Fire Company No. 1 led by Training Officer Kevin DeBlasio will present Firefighter Survival Skills Demonstrations at the 30th annual celebration of Jefferson Township Day on Saturday, July 9, at the Jefferson Township High School fields, 1010 Weldon Road, Milton/Oak Ridge, NJ.
    Jefferson Township volunteer firefighters will follow a hose through a maze set up with props including a wall breach, an entanglement box, a low profile prop, and a window escape with limited visibility to simulate smoke in order to safely exit the maze designed to mimic a building/home fire situation.
    Demonstrations will run from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
