    Owen George Law of Hamburg has been named to the Spring 2016 dean's list at Kutztown University.
    To be eligible for dean's list, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60. More than 1,650 students were named to the list.
    Katie Hatler of Oak Ridge was named to the dean's list at Lehigh University for the spring 2016 semester.
    Dean's list status, which is awarded to students who earned a scholastic average of 3.6 or better while carrying at least 12 hours of regularly graded courses.
    Salvador Gabriel Bigay of Lafayette graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in government.
    Christina Ugrovics of Oak Ridge was named to the dean's list at Elizabethtown College for the spring 2016 semester.
    Ugrovics is a senior English-Professional Writing major.
    Students on the dean's list are full-time undergraduate students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.60 or better in 14 or more credit hours, of which at least 12 credits are letter-graded course work.
    Emily A. Mosser of Oak Ridge, Stephanie A. Romano of Oak Ridge, Jeanne R. Ortiz of Ogdensburg, Kristina Zarra of Hamburg all received degrees from The University of Scranton.
    The University of Scranton conferred more than 600 doctorate and masters degrees at its graduate commencement May 28 on campus.
    Brianna Treacy of Oak Ridge received a bachelor of science degree in pharmaceutical and healthcare studies cum laude from the University of the Sciences and was recognized at a bachelor's degree conferment ceremony on Friday, May 20.
    Students in the doctor of occupational therapy, doctor of physical therapy, doctor of pharmacy, and master of physician assistant studies programs were eligible to earn a bachelor's degree as they continue their matriculation toward their professional degrees.
    Treacy now continues on a path towards a doctor of pharmacy degree.
    Darianne Mastricola of Oak Ridge was named to the dean's list at Eastern Connecticut State University. She is a major in English.
    Patrick W. Scott of Lafayette graduated with a bachelor's degree in communications from Elizabethtown College.
    More than 500 students graduated from Elizabethtown on Saturday, May 14.
    Aileen Koch of Franklin received a bachelor of science degree from Lebanon Valley College. She also wa snamed to the dean's list.
    Brooke Van Veen of Oak Ridge, who is pursuing a bachelor of music, bachelor of arts in audio and music productoin and musice at the Valley, also has been named to the dean's list.
    Dean's list students must maintain a GPA of at least 3.4 out of 4.0.
    Andre Remus of Oak Ridge was recently named to the dean's list at Castleton University for the spring 2016 semester.
    To qualify for this academic honor, the student must maintain full-time status and a semester grade point average of 3.5.
    Andrew Landolfi of Franklin, Victoria Holowienka of Hamburg; Sandra Federock and Christopher Pini, both of Oak Ridge; John Whelan of Stockholm recently graduated from Quinnipiac University.
    Landolfi, earned a bachelor of arts in journalism and a bachlor of arts in English. Holowienka earned a bachelor of science in finance. Federocko earned a bachlor of arts in public relations and Pini received a bachelor of science in health science studies, while Whelan earned a bachelor of arts in criminal justice.
    Amanda Hayes of Lafayette was recognized at Frostburg State University's Honors Convocation.
    Hayes, who received departmental honors in modern foreign languages and literature, graduated summa cum laude, with a double major in wildlife and fisheries and Spanish, and a double minor in biology and fine arts. She is a member of the Foreign Language National Honors Society. Hayes worked as an undergraduate tutor for the Spanish language, and she spent the 2013 fall semester in San Jose, Costa Rica, where she attended Veritas University. During the trip, she had the opportunity to combine her two passions: the Spanish language and natural wildlife.
    Matthew Peters of Lafayette was honored by Lafayette College for academic excellence at the annual All-College Honors Convocatoin. Awads and prices were presented to 138 students in all four of the college's academic divisions — engineering, humanities, natural sciences and social sciences
    Peters is the recipient of the David A. Portlock Study Abroad Memorial Prize, awarded annually to an outstanding student who will benefit from studying abroad.
