Graham, Petillo win freeholder primary

The incumbent in the Republican race for Sussex County freeholder earned the most votes in Tuesday's primary and will face a challenge in the November election.
Graham received 9,189 votes and Hopatcong Mayor Sylvia Petillo also clinched the Republican nomination with 8,411 votes. Kathleen Gorman and David Gray finished third and fourth respectively in the voting. Graham and Petillo will face Democrats Michelle Van Allen and Michael Riley-Mills, who ran unopposed in the Democratic primary.
There were no other contested primaries in the area.
The general election will take place Tuesday, Nov. 8.
