Sussex Tech hosts veterans tribute, fashion show

On Thursday, hundreds of supporters came to the McNeice Auditorium for the 3rd Annual Veterans Tribute and Fashion Show in an effort to support Northern New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery. The evening started with an hour of tasty treats before moving into the auditorium. The event was the creation of Sussex County Technical School students and staff. • The program began with all the veterans in attendance being asked to come up onto the stage. Following that, Wallkill Valley Chapter 1002 of the Vietnam Veterans of America President John Harrigan offered the “empty table” ceremony that honors those military personnel who remain prisoners of war.
After that there was a brief intermission followed by dozens of students offering their take on handmade fashion offerings. The program required months of preparation
