FRANKLIN BOROUGH POLICE DEPT.

Jessica Sartor, 35, of Franklin, formerly of Hopatcong, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadline weapon and possession of a deadly weapon (not a firearm) after police responded to reports of a stabbing on Mabie Street.
Upon officer’s arrival they located a male who had sustained a puncture/slash wound and small puncture wound. The male was transported to Newton Medical Center. His injuries were not life threatening.
Sartor is alleged to have used a glass bottle to puncture and or wound the victim causing serious injury.
She was released pending an appearance in Sussex County Superior Court.
The investigation is ongoing.
