    Brianna Genovese, who appeared before Judge McGovern, 25, of Sparta, was sentenced to 18 months of probation with 68 days of jail credit. She was ordered to complete intensive outpatient treatment, submit to a TASC evaluation and follow all recommendations made, obtain her GED, complete 50 hours of community service work, pay restitution of $500 and fines and fees totaling $155.
    She pleaded guilty on March 14, to theft, a third-degree crime.
    The defendant admitted to unlawfully taking property belonging to another and selling same as if it were her own.
    May 10
    George Decker, 26, of Denville pleaded guilty to unlawful taking of means of conveyance, a crime of the third degree. \Sentencing is scheduled for June 17.
    The defendant admitted to taking his employer’s truck without permission and then crashing it in Hampton Township.
    Decker was represented by Janine Cerra, Esq. and the state was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Brent M. Rafuse.
    May 13
    Robert Norman, 32, of Wantage was sentenced to four years in state prison with two years parole ineligibility, 143 days jail credit for time served, a six month loss of driver’s license and $2,330 in court fines.
    He pleaded guilty on Feb. 29, to the third-degree crimes of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance.
    He admitted to selling heroin on July 22, 2015, in Newton, to an individual cooperating with the Sussex County Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force. He also admitted to selling heroin on December 2, 2015, in Franklin, to an individual cooperating with the Franklin Police Department.
    Troy Leonard, 31, of Franklin Lakes pleaded guilty to eight counts of sexual assault, crimes of the second degree and one count of health care claims fraud, a crime of the second degree. Leonard admitted to committing acts of sexual contact against 8 patients each under the age of 13 when Leonard was acting as their therapist. He further admitted to billing insurance companies for treatment he didn’t provide.
    This matter was investigated by the Sussex County Prosecutor’s Office with assistance from the Bergen and Passaic County Prosecutor’s offices, the FBI and the New Jersey State Police.
    Sentencing is presently anticipated for July 15.
