Hundreds of 'foodies' descend on stadium

Made in Vernon by Vernonites is the tasty Juan Grande Premium Chipotle Steak Sauce. Offering steak and samples of the family-made sauce were Shannon Rogers, Stefanie Hall, and Shannon's father John Paul Joseph. The sauce is also available at Sussex Meat Packing and the Comfort Snack Shop in nearby Warwick, N.Y.
Many people brought their children to the food fest.
Herbie the Miner, the official mascot the Sussex County Miners baseball team, offered high fives to passengers of the stadium's passenger train.
In the spirit of Heaven Hill Farm's Mining Company, the stadium offered its own Braen Stone mining sluice.

AUGUSTA — Despite a cloudy afternoon sky, hundreds of people came to Skylands Stadium for its first ever Food Truck Frenzy.
Saturday’s event included spirited music by the cover band “Under A Ton,” which offered an eclectic mix of everything from classic rock to country and pop.
For those interested in baseball, inside the stadium the Sussex County Community College Skylanders were playing a doubleheader against the Titans of the County College of Morris.
