On Sunday, the Franklin Historical Society and the Sussex County Railroad Club hosted their 14th annual Model and Toy Train Sale and Show at the Littell Community Center.
The event usually draws about 400 to 500 visitors and is great fun for the kids and adults This year there were two HO Gauge and one N Gauge model railroad layouts that included multiple trains running in opposite directions towards each other.
Surprisingly, it only takes four hours to set up the the train layouts and some 92 vendor tables. More information about the club can be found at www.trainweb.org/sussexctyrrclub. Those interested in joining the club can contact the club’s president John Bazelewich at 973-697-6539.
According to their Website, the Sussex County Railroad Club is a group of railroad enthusiasts, both prototypical and model.
