Jefferson library plans baseball exhibit

    Take a walk down memory lane and revisit the glory days of New York baseball in this slide and lecture program at the Jefferson Township Library on Wednesday, May 11 at 7 p.m.
    Relive the Golden Age of New York baseball with the NY Giants, the '61 Yankees, Willie, Mickey and the Duke — hear once again the voice of Red Barber, and revisit the historic home run race between Roger Maris and Mickey Mantle that captivated the nation.
    Presenter Dr. James P. Kane is a former teacher, prep school headmaster, principal and Superintendent of Schools who today serves as an adjunct professor of education at William Paterson University. He holds the rank of Captain, USMCR, and is a former school and college athlete. His talks are always informative, lively and interactive!
