Ziegler Dance Troupe members win awards

Sydney Hill was named first overall teen soloist.

Emily Moreno and Mathew Losco won senior first overall soloist and duet.

CHESTER — Ziegler Dance Centre’s Z Dance Troupe recently attended Groove Dance Competition in Chester.
At this competition ZDC dancers were awarded more than 30 divisional overalls and judge’s special awards as well as 27 first-place category awards.
In the competitive divisions Teen soloist Sydney Hill of Wantage performed her musical theatre “I’m Getting Good” and won platinum 1st overall. Senior Soloist Emily Moreno of Vernon performed her musical theatre, “You’re a Mean One” and won platinum 1st overall. Senior duet Emily Moreno and Matthew Losco, Vernon, performed their musical theatre, “I Think I got you Beat”
and won platinum 1st overall.
In the novice division Petite hip hop large group “Show Ya” and mini hip hop large group “School’s Out” won high gold and 1st Overall in their divisions. ZDC was awarded the “Back Stage Award” for positive sportsmanship, passion and team work.
