    — Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Natasha McCoy, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on April 22.
    McCoy, age 33 of Hamburg, was sentenced to three years in New Jersey State Prison. She was ordered to submit a DNA sample at her own expense and must pay fines and penalties of $1,360. Her driver’s license was ordered suspended for six months.
    She pled guilty on February 29, 2016, to two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, third degree crimes.
    Defendant was in possession of heroin in Hamburg on September 9, 2015, and in Franklin on December 21, 2015.
    McCoy was represented by William Oake, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
    Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Michael Stafford, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on April 22.
    Stafford, age 30 of Newton, was sentenced to two years of probation. He must submit to a TASC evaluation and follow any and all recommendations, complete intensive outpatient treatment, perform 50 hours of community service work, submit a DNA sample at his own expense and pay fines and fees of $155.00.
    He pled guilty on March 9, 2016, to Criminal Trespass, a fourth degree crime.
    Without having permission to do so, the defendant entered a Newton residence through a window.
    Stafford was represented by Leanne Healy, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
    Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Robert Misner, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on April 22.
    Misner, age 28 of Mine Hill, was sentenced to 180 days in the Keogh-Dwyer Correctional Facility. He was given credit for 95 days served. He was ordered to pay fines and penalties of $155.00.
    He pled guilty on March 7, 2016, to driving while suspended, a fourth degree crime.
    Misner admitted operation of a motor vehicle while his driver’s license was suspended for a second or subsequent Driving While Intoxicated offense.
    Misner was represented by David Nufrio, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
    Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse, in Newton, on April 21, by Dean Gobel.
    Gobel, age 25, of Sparta pled guilty to the first degree crimes of distribution of cocaine and possession with intent to distribute cocaine and third degree possession with intent to distribute marijuana. Sentencing is presently anticipated for June 10.
    He admitted to selling more than five ounces of cocaine to an individual cooperating with the Sussex County Guns, Gangs and Narcotics Task Force on July 23, 2014 in Wantage Township. He also admitted to possessing more than five ounces of cocaine with the intention of distributing it. On November 4, 2015, in Sparta Township, he admitted to possessing four pounds of marijuana, which he intended to sell. That matter was investigated by Sparta Police Detective J. McCarrick.
    Gobel was represented by Martin Morrison, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Jerome P. Neidhardt.
    Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced that the Sussex County Grand Jury handed up an indictment to the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C., at the courthouse in Newton on April 14.
    The indictment charges Colin Skeele, age 29, of Florham Park, New Jersey, with one count of sexual assault, a second degree crime; three counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, third degree crimes; and one count of promoting obscene material (for persons under 18), a third degree crime.
    The case was presented to the Grand Jury by Assistant Prosecutor Laura L. Nazzaro. Arraignment before the Superior Court in Newton will be within the next 6 weeks.
    A Grand Jury indictment is a charge only. The defendant is presumed innocent until guilt may be proved at a jury trial.

    The indictment charges Donald Hanrahan, age 63, of Wantage, New Jersey, having previously been convicted as a sexual offense requiring registration under the New Jersey Sex Offender Act, with one count of failure to register, a third degree crime.
    The case was presented to the Grand Jury by Assistant Prosecutor Laura L. Nazzaro. Arraignment before the Superior Court in Newton will be within the next 6 weeks.

    Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on April 18, by Michael Bivona.
    Bivona, age 25, of Wayne, pled guilty to two counts third degree Burglary, two counts third degree Theft, two counts fourth degree Theft, and various other disorderly persons offenses and motor vehicle summonses. Sentencing is presently scheduled for May 20.
    The defendant admitted to breaking into several vehicles in Sparta, Andover and Byram in August of 2015 and taking various items from the vehicles including jewelry, cell phones, a GPS and cash. When the defendant was arrested by Sparta Police he was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
