Crystal Springs plans Mother's Day event
HAMBURG — Crystal Springs Resort honors Mother’s Day Sunday May 8 with a weekend of dining, special events and a free round of golf for moms.
Restaurant Latour will serve an elegant brunch while both Crystal Tavern and Springs Bistro will offer special dinner menus. Grand Cascades, Black Bear Country Club and Minerals Resort & Spa will host Mother’s Day buffets. On Saturday, May 7, at 11:30 a.m. at Grand Cascades and 3 p.m. at Minerals Resort & Spa, artist Arlene Higginson will lead a painting class where every member of the family takes turns working on a single canvas to create an unforgettable family art work ($35 per family).
On Sunday May 8, Mom can hit the links for a free round of golf on the Black Bear, Crystal Springs, Cascades or Minerals courses.

Crystal Tavern will serve a special 3-course menu $65 plus tax and tip, wine pairing $30 from 5-10 p.m. on Sunday May 8. Appetizers include a choice of Vichyssoise with potato rocks, caramelized yogurt, chive flowers or English Pea Salad with fried shallots and petite herbs. For entrée, a choice of Organic Irish Salmon with shaved asparagus and pickled ramps or New Jersey’s own Griggstown Farm Poussin with beets and pistachio. A Rhubarb and White Chocolate Panna Cotta concludes the meal. The a la carte menu will also be available.
Springs Bistro will offer a menu of Italian-inspired specials on Sunday from 3-8 p.m.
Families will have the option of three Mother’s Day Sunday Brunches buffet-style in the Emerald Ballroom at Grand Cascades Lodge, Black Bear Country Club and the Diamond Ballroom at Minerals Resort & Spa.
