Beverly Hand

Beverly Hand, age 71, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2016, at Newton Medical Center. Born and raised in West Milford in the house that her late father built, Beverly has lived in Sussex County for the past eight years. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph Hand and Jennie (Vreeland) Hand; her brother, Joseph Hand; and her sisters, Anna Akers and Betty Reger. Beverly is survived by her sisters, Dorothy Miller and her husband, Donald, of Vernon, Phoebe Schnorr of Hamburg, Shirley Riccardi and her husband, Leonard, “Ricci” of Stockholm, and Hope L. Clark of Hamburg; 16 nieces and nephews, 31 great nieces and nephews, and 3 great great nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, April 11, 2016, at the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank Street (Route 23), Sussex. Interment will follow at North Hardyston Cemetery. Friends paid their respects to the family one hour prior to the funeral service on Monday, April 11, 2016 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
