Annual SCCC Skylanders Golf Outing always a good time for a good cause

NEWTON — There are golf outings and then there are golf outings! Sussex County Community College's annual golf outing always falls into the "wow" category. A lot of fun, and for a good cause.
This year's much-anticipated 21st annual outing tees off on Monday, May 2, at the Ballyowen Golf Club in Hardyston.
This event is an important part of SCCC’s dedication to lifelong learning and community enrichment, helping the athletic department fulfill its commitment to providing a quality collegiate athletic experience for students, while enhancing the spirit and energy on campus.
The Skylanders Annual Golf Outing has a long tradition of community patronage that generates critical resources to support student athletes at SCCC.
The cost per golfer is $200 ($800 for a foursome). The golf outing begins with check-in and breakfast at 7:30 a.m., and then a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Lunch and an awards ceremony will take place following golf.
