Apply for 'Skylands Got Talent' by March 4

NEWTON — The Newton Theatre has scheduled its annual talent show and fundraising event, "Skylands’ Got Talent," for April 17 at 3 p.m. Tickets are now on sale.

Acts will perform in front of a live audience and a panel of judges for a chance to win prizes. Information and instructions on how to audition are available at www.thenewtontheatre.com. Individual contestants, or the majority of members of a group, must live in Sussex or Warren counties in New Jersey or Pike County, Pa.

The deadline for submissions is March 4.

Prizes will be provided by Steinwand Sound Studio, Blue Raven Entertainment, Minisink Press, The Bill Wright School of Music and The Newton Theatre, which will give a coveted opening slot to one lucky winner.

Proceeds will benefit autism-related organizations.
