'Ladybug and Bumblebee Boy' flying to Morristown

| 05 Feb 2016 | 01:54

The lively new musical “Ladybug Girl and Bumblebee Boy” flies on to the stage at Mayo Performing Arts Center on Sunday, March 6, at 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Tickets are $12- $15.
Based on the popular picture books by David Soman and Jacky Davis, “Ladybug Girl and Bumblebee Boy” celebrates the power of imagination and promotes a sense of adventure and exploration of the world around you.

Inspired by the New York Times best-selling book series (with 10 titles and over 3.3 million copies in print), this lively new musical “buzzes” with the inventive energy of childhood, as Lulu, disappointed that she is too little to play baseball with her big brother, grabs her trusty sidekick, Bingo, the family dog, and goes off to the park, seeking adventure. Lulu meets up with her friends, Sam, Marley and Kiki and they morph into the Bug Squad as Ladybug Girl, Bumblebee Boy, Dragonfly Girl and Butterfly Girl fight the Mean Alien...or is that Lulu's brother?

Imagination will triumph!
“Ladybug Girl and Bumblebee Boy” is recommended for ages 4-10. Please note everyone who enters the theatre, regardless of age, requires a paid ticket of admission.
