Boating safety course ready for applicants

LAKE HOPATCONG — Take a course by Feb. 21 to obtain the state Boating Safety Certificate, which is required to operate a power boat or ski jet legally on the state's inland waterways.

Boating Safety First is conducting this course sponsored by the Lake Hopatcong Foundation. LHF members receive a discounted student fee of $65. Non members $75.

This course is approved by the National Association of Boating Law Administrators and the NJ State Police Marine Services Bureau. Students are eligible to receive the NJ BSC at the completion of the one day course and passing the exam.
