Vo-Tech students 'stuff the doghouse'

SPARTA — Steve Wagner, building trades teacher at Sparta Vo-Tech has been building doghouses with his students for the past seven years.

He holds a "Stuff the Doghouse" event in order to raise supplies for a local shelter and the doghouse and supplies are donated to the shelter in need at the campaign's end.

This year, more than $500 worth of supplies was collected in the schoolwide campaign and the doghouse, along with the collected supplies, were donated to the One Step Closer Animal Rescue out of Sparta, New Jersey.

Amy Van Kalsbeck and her Key Club were a huge support in garnering donations.
