    Helen E. Ramage, 92, died Sunday, Jan. 31, 2016, at Spring Mill Presbyterian Village in Lafayette Hill, Pa., following a 35-year battle with cancer. Mrs. Ramage, daughter of the late Filip and Mary (VaxMonsky) Miskovic was born in Ogdensburg on Nov. 5, 1923. She was a lifelong resident of Ogdensburg moving to Lafayette Hill last year to be near her daughter.

    Mrs. Ramage was “Miss Ogdensburg” in 1939. She was a devoted Parishioner of St. Thomas of Aquin RC Church in Ogdensburg and was a Girl Scout Leader for many years.

    Mrs. Ramage married Lawrence “Hezzy” Lozaw June 6, 1943. He died during WWII on December 1943, when the submarine he was serving on, USS Dorado, was sunk. On Oct. 30, 1948, Mrs. Ramage married Bill Ramage, who predeceased her Oct. 7, 1992.

    She was predeceased by all her brothers and sisters, Andrew Miskovich, Irene (Miskovic) Canty, Joseph Miskovic, Frank Miskovic, Elizabeth (Miskovic) Bedell, Anna (Miskovic) Selvonik and Phillip Miskovic. Mrs. Ramage was the loving mother of her devoted daughter, Regina Ramage and her companion Michael Bondi of Lafayette Hill, Pa., and she is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

    Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016, at 9:15 a.m. from F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, 1 Main St. Franklin to St. Thomas of Aquin RC Church, Ogdensburg, for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery.
