Bessie A. Szoka

Bessie A. Szoka (nee Van Sickle), 69 years old, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 31, 2016. Born to Avery and Dorothy Van Sickle in Sussex, NJ, she was a lifelong resident of Franklin, NJ.

Bessie was a dedicated homemaker and doting grandmother. She loved arts and crafts and was a dog lover, especially dachshunds. She enjoyed listening to music, especially Elvis as well as watching his movies.

Bessie was predeceased by her husband, Istvan Szoka, Sr.(2015) and was the devoted mother of Istvan “Steve” Szoka, Jr. of Franklin, NJ and Anthony “Tony” Szoka and his wife, Debbie of Upper Moreland, PA. Loving grandmother of Scott and Hanna. Dear sister of Josephine Abdou of Hardyston Twp., NJ and Anthony J. Giamoni of Bangor, PA. Aunt of Frank, Charlie, Lisa and her husband, Charlie. Grandaunt of Carly, Charles and Erin. Missed by “Missy”
