Jefferson plans trip to hockey game

    Experience the excitement of New Jersey Devils hockey live at Prudential Center on Friday, Feb. 19, as the three-time Stanley Cup Champions, led by new GM Ray Shero and new Head Coach John Hynes rekindle their local rivalry with the New York Islanders. Join the Jefferson Township Recreation Department at the 7 p.m. puck drop and kick off Hockey Weekend across America by attending the game where the first 10,000 fans receive a Devils Hockey Card pack.

    A deluxe motor coach bus will depart from the Camp Jefferson parking lot, 81 Weldon Road, Lake Hopatcong, at 5 p.m. sharp for the Prudential Center in Newark. Tickets are $69 per person and include reserved seating, round trip transportation, and driver gratuity. A responsible adult must accompany children under the age of 18, and there are no refunds unless your ticket can be resold.

    Reserve tickets in person by cash, check/money order payable to the “Township of Jefferson”, or MasterCard, VISA, or Discover (credit cards incur a 2.45 percent surcharge) at the Recreation Dept. office at Camp Jefferson, 81 Weldon Road, between 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. – Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Fridays. Or mail your reservation to the Recreation Department, Camp Jefferson, 81 Weldon Road, Lake Hopatcong, NJ 07849.

    However, reservations made by mail are subject to availability upon receipt. Phone reservations will be accepted with either of the accepted credit cards. Download the reservation form from www.jeffersontownship.net, click on the “Forms Center” link on the left side of the home page and then scroll down to “Recreation Department”.
