    Angela Hunt Rainer, 86, of Hardyston Township, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, Jan. 11, 2016. A funeral mass will be held at St. Rose of Lima church, 312 Ridgedale Ave., East Hanover, N.J., at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 30, followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, 225 Ridgedale Ave., East Hanover, N.J. Angela was predeceased six months ago by her husband of 59 years, William C. Rainer, M.D. She is survived by her six children, Ann E. Rainer, William C. Rainer, Jr., Ellen M. Rainer (Jack), Madeline L. McMullen (Don), Valerie H. Rainer and Joseph T. Rainer. Angela is also survived by her two sisters, Regina Hunt (Dick) and Mary Ann Evans (Bill), and her two brothers, Thomas Hunt and James Hunt (Dolly).

    Angela was born in Tunnelton, West Virginia, and attended St. Francis High School in Morgantown, W.V. She graduated from West Virginia University with a bachelor of Arts in English. A woman of faith, Angela was beautiful on the inside as well as in appearance. We will all dearly miss her unique, kind and gentle spirit. She was a homemaker and an avid gardener. A former resident of Mountain Lakes, she was a long time member of the Garden Club of Mountain Lakes, N.J.
