Christian Faith Fellowship Church presented the movie “War Room” on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016.

The “War Room” is a story based on a Christian family, Tony and Elizabeth and their daughter, Danielle. Their marriage is failing and Elizabeth grows increasingly bitter as Tony is emotionally cold and yells at his wife and child. He is caught up in his career and fighting his own demons. Elizabeth is a real estate agent who meets a new client, Miss Clara. Miss Clara teaches her that prayer is a powerful weapon. Upon Miss Clara’s suggestion Elizabeth creates a “war room” and a battle plan for prayer for her family. She teaches her to pray for her family and not against them.

The “War Room” conveys that just as an army prepares to fight, Christians can fight through the power of prayer and that miracles happen when we pray to Jesus Christ. “War Room” is an inspiring, funny, heart-warming story where impossible situations can be turned around by prayer.

Kaleigh Hayes, a staff member at Christian Faith Fellowship Church shared with me that she was inspired by the “War Room.”

“It encouraged me to step up my prayer life and to set that time aside with God.” “The movie also showed me to never let go of Jesus’ promises and His word.”

Pastor Tom Feola said his prayer for the congregation is that “they will fall in love with Jesus.” Pastor Diane Feola explained that her prayer for the church members is that “they realize that prayer does make a difference.”

Donna Brett talked about how the movie inspired her to create her own prayer room and that the movie “hit home.”

Dianna Spina told how she thought the movie was “inspiring, honest, and uplifting” and lets her know she is on the right track.
