AUGUSTA — Dozens of people turned out for Friday’s unveiling of the “Senator Robert E. Littell Memorial Highway” on Route 15 in front of the Chatterbox restaurant at the corner of State Route 15 and State Route 206.
The designation was made possible by a bill signed into law by Gov. Chris Christie earlier this year.
Guest speakers included the bill’s sponsors State Senator Steve Oroho and Assemblyman Parker Space. With the late Senator Littell’s lucky number being 13, the Friday the 13th unveiling coincided with the first anniversary of Littell’s passing on Nov. 14, 2014.
