Jefferson Township plans second Radio City trip
OAK RIDGE — The Jefferson Township Recreation Department has scheduled an additional trip into New York City on Sunday, Nov. 22 to see the 4:30 p.m. Christmas Spectacular show.
Tickets are $87 per person and include reserved orchestra seating in Section 600, transportation by deluxe motor coach, and driver gratuity. The bus will leave the Jefferson Township Municipal Building parking lot, 1033 Weldon Road, Lake Hopatcong, NJ. at 8:30 a.m. sharp and depart from NYC immediately after the 4:30 p.m. show (approximately 6:30 pm) so everyone can enjoy the time in between to sightsee and enjoy a meal before the show.
The Christmas Spectacular is a magical lineup, where the Rockettes put on a show that’s more dynamic, challenging and magical than the last. It’s a wondrous journey on a thrilling 3D ride through the skies of New York with Santa whisked up to the North Pole, as state-of-the-art technology transforms Radio City Music Hall into a magical, immersive wonderland. Dreams come to life with a unique take on ”The Nutcracker” with Clara, ice skaters, and dancing teddy bears to the hall’s original “Here Come Santa Claus ” with dozens of Santa Clauses and more surprises. Then celebrate the miracle in a reverent tribute to the first Christmas for the awe-inspiring Living Nativity.
In-person payments and telephone credit card reservations will be immediately confirmed at the Recreation Department office, located at 81 Weldon Road in Lake Hopatcong at Camp Jefferson, between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Reservations made by mail with a personal check or money order are subject to availability. All checks should be made payable to the Township of Jefferson, and there are no refunds unless your ticket can be resold. MasterCard, VISA, and Discover credit cards accepted by phone or in person incur a 2.45 percent surcharge to cover bank processing fees.
