    Oct. 15Paige Chuprevic, 25, of Hewitt was sentenced to 180 days in the Keogh-Dwyer Correctional Facility with a minimum of six months as a parole stipulation. She also must pay all court fines and fees.

    She pleaded guilty on May 12, to driving while suspended a crime of the fourth degree.

    In 2013, the defendant was found operating a motor vehicle in Hardyston Township during a period of license suspension for a second or subsequent time driving while intoxicated.

    Oct. 16Scott V. Bancroft, 54, of Franklin was sentenced to a mandatory term of 180 days in the Keogh-Dwyer Correctional Facility. He was ordered to attend forty-eight 48 hours of I.D.R.C. classes, must pay total fines and penalties of $1,480 and submit a DNA sample at his expense.

    His driving privileges were suspended for 10 years.

    He pleaded guilty on July 13, 2015, to fourth-degree driving while license is suspended and driving while intoxicated. In pleading guilty, Bancroft admitted to being drunk while driving a motor vehicle in Franklin on May 18, 2015. His license was suspended at the time of the incident for a second conviction of D.W.I.

    Eugene S. Osborne, 60, of Manchester was sentenced to three years of probation on condition he obtain TASC and mental health evaluations and follow all recommendations, pay $1,000 restitution to the victims, have no contact with the victims and pay all cocurt fines and fees.

    He pleaded guilty on Sept. 18, to third-degree theft.

    The defendant was staying with friends in Sparta while dealing with some issues in his life. During this time the defendant took several items from their home including jewelry and tools. He then sold the jewelry.

    Brandon M. Wagner, 26, of Hewitt was sentenced to time served to run concurrent with a New Jersey state prison sentence he is presently serving. He was ordered to pay total fines and penalties of $280 and submit a DNA sample at his expense.

    He pleaded guilty on June 22 to fourth-degree criminal trespass and the disorderly persons offense of disorderly conduct. On April 8, 2015, Hardyston police received several 911 calls regarding a male running around and yelling for help in the area of Ferndale Road. Subsequent investigation determined that Wagner, who was highly intoxicated, had previously entered an occupied apartment and then ran into the parking lot where he began screaming.

    Shawn Bittner, 48, was sentenced to three years in state prison, $2,205 in fines, 88 days credit for time served and a six-month loss of drive's license.

    He pleaded guilty on June 11 to the second-degree crime of manufacturing of marijuana plants.

    He admitted to possessing 10- 50 marijuana plants in his backyard in Newton on Aug. 9, 2010. The matter was investigated by Newton Police Officer Sgt. Monaco.

    Oct. 19Travis Robertson, 33, of Landing pleaded guilty to three counts of burglary, a crime of the third degree.

    Sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 4.

    The defendant admitted that in 2013, over a period of three weeks, he broke into the Ridgewood Restaurant in Hopatcong on three separate occasions, without the owner’s permission, looking for money.

    Stephen Dagis, 44, of Ogdensburg pleaded guilty to the third-degree crime of possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

    Sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 1.

    Dagis admitted to being in possession of heroin on July 14 in Byram Township. He was found asleep in his vehicle in the Quick Check parking lot by Byram Police Officer Daniel DeWald.

    Salvatore Varon, 49, of Vernon pleaded guilty to vandalizing a railroad crossing, a crime of the fourth degree.

    Sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 11.

    The defendant admitted to climbing on a Vernon railroad crossing light, jumping up and down on the post causing the lights to bounce. Mr. Varon was intoxicated at the time of the incident.

    Mandee Monico, 24, of Franklin pleaded guilty to the third-degree crime of possession with intent to distributed a controlled dangerous substance and to a motor vehicle ticket for failure to stop.

    Sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 18.

    Jason Peranio, 30, of Vernon pleaded guilty to the third-degree crime of distrubution of a controlled dangerous substance.

    Sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 4.

    He admitted on May 6, in Vernon Township, he distributed five OxyContin pills to an individual cooperating with the Sussex County Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force.
