The Ogdensburg School District invites all parents and children (5th – 12th grade) to attend an interactive program that will educate everyone about the legal and social aspects of cyberbullying on Wednesday, Oct. 14, from 7-8:30 p.m.

Additionally, David Fallon of Homeland Security, will educate parents only on cyberbullying with respect to current lingo, symbols and social media sites that could put children at risk for becoming a victim of cybercrime. Two presentations will be held simultaneously, one for students and one for parents that allow for questions and conversations with professionals in the field of Cyber safety. At the end of the program, time will be allotted for everyone to review this important topic together to best open the lines of communication between parents and children.

This workshop, open to the public, will be held at Ogdensburg School, 100 Main Street, Ogdensburg, NJ, 07439. For more information, please contact Patrice Reilly at The Center for Prevention at 973-383-4787, ext. 245 or email patrice@centerforprevention.org
