Candidates night planned in Ogdensburg

OGDENSBURG — The Ogdensburg Historical Society will host its annual “Candidates’ Night” on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015, at 7:00 P.M. in the Ogdensburg Firehouse, 1 Firehouse Lane.

All members of the public are welcome to attend and meet the candidates running for office.

Incumbent Parker Space(R) and candidate Gail Phoebus(R), and candidates Michael F. Grace (D) and Jacqueline Stapel (D) are campaigning for the 24th Assembly District's two seats. Carl F. Lazzaro (R) and Jonathan M. Rose (R), candidates for the Sussex County Board of Chosen Freeholders, will attend.

David Astor (R) and George P. Hutnick (R), uncontested candidates for the Ogdensburg Council, also will be in attendance. Three candidates (incumbent Nina Sutera, Brendan Donegan, and Sue Dolan) are running for Ogdensburg's Board of Education's two seats.
