    Aug. 20Richard Dobrowolski, 37, of Vernon was indicted on one count of violation of special conditions of the electronic monitoring program, a crime of the third degree, and on one count of violation community supervision for life, having previously been convicted of a sex offense, a crime of the third degree.

    He also was indicted on a charge of failure to register a change of address with Vernon Township Police Dept., a crime of the third degree.

    The case was presented to the grand jury by Assistant Prosecutor Laura L. Nazzaro. Arraignment is scheduled within several weeks.

    Leigh Tenore, 36, of Newton was indicted on two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, a crime of the second degree, one count of attempted witness tampering, a crime of the third degree, one count of attempted obstructoin, a crime of the fourth degree, and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a crime of the third degree.

    The case was presented to the Grand Jury by Assistant Prosecutor Laura L. Nazzaro. Arraignment before the Superior Court in Newton is planned within the next several weeks.

    Elaine Ziacoma, 58, of Andover was indicted on one count of possession of a firearm with the purpose to use it unlawfully against the person or property of another, a crime of the second degree and on one count of aggravated assault, a crime of the fourth degree.

    The case was presented to the Grand Jury by Assistant Prosecutor Laura L. Nazzaro. Arraignment before the Superior Court in Newton is planned within the next severral weeks.

    Sept. 9Michael Moro, 19, of Highland Lakes and Aldo Moro, 26, of Union each pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree robbery.

    Both Moro brothers admitted to robbing the Market Place Deli in Vernon Township, Sussex County, on Feb. 25, 2014, and the Shell Gas Station in Wayne Township, Passaic County on Feb. 23, 2014.

    These matters were investigated by the Vernon Township Police Department, Sussex County Prosecutors Office, Wayne Township Police Department and the Passaic County Prosecutors Office.

    Sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 6.

    Sept. 11Richard J. Jarry, 35, of Stanhope was sentenced dto two years of probation and time served. He was ordered to submit to a psychological evaluation and follow all recommendations made, must pay total fines and penalties of $405 and submit a DNA sample at his expense.

    He pleaded guilty on July 14 to fourth-degree violation of a restraining order and the disorderly persons offenses of theft and criminal trespass. On or about May 15, 2015, the defendant violated the provisions of an order under the “Prevention of Domestic Violence Act of 1991” specifically by entering the residence of B.S. without permission to do so, knowing that there was an active Final Restraining Order, and taking property from the residence.

    Melissa Maher, 28, of Matamoras was sentenced to two years of probation with 90 days SLAP. She also must complete five days of community service, pay $155 in court fines and $1,239.96 restitution, joint and several with her co-defendants.

    She pleaded guilty on Dec. 8, 2014, to third-degree shoplifting.

    In 2014, the defendant and two co-defendants went to the Hampton Walmart on two occasions taking various items, including kitchen and dining ware, an LG TV, Philips entertainment system, bedding and other items. They left without paying and sold many of the items they took. When the defendants returned a third time, they were caught while attempting to shoplift again.

    Christopher Fiorenza, 26, of Delray Beach, Fla., was sentenced to two years of probation on condition that he complete 100 hours of community service, obtain an updated TASC evaluation and follow all recommendations, complete present treatment and pay $955 in court fines and fees.

    He pleaded guilty on July 10 to fourth-degree defrauding a drug test.

    On Jan. 15, a Sussex County Probation Officer alerted the Sheriff’s Department that Fiorenza was defrauding a drug test with a device strapped to his person. The device was seized and the defendant arrested.

    Sept. 14Terrance M. Cyler, 32, of Passaic pleaded guilty to fourth-degree driving while a license is suspended. Sentencing is presently anticipated for Nov. 13, 2015.

    The defendant was found to be driving with a suspended driver’s license during a motor vehicle stop in Sparta on May 9, 2015. The matter was investigated by Patrolman D. Florio of the Sparta Township Police Department.
