Pumpkin season opens at Heaven Hill Farm

Vernon — Squash those end of summer blues, and pick a bountiful harvest of fun at Heaven Hill Farm’s Great Pumpkin Festival.

Heaven Hill Farm has fall decorating items such as mums, corn stalks and scarecrows.

There is also a gift shop, bakery and wine tastings.

Enjoy the great outdoors and fall foliage and enjoy pumpkin picking family fun.

The season runs from Sept.19 - Nov.8 including Monday, Columbus Day.

Heaven Hill will be open Wednesday through Friday, 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.

The Great Pumpkin Festival has hayrides to the pumpkin patch to pick the perfect pumpkin and spend the day enjoying all the fall festivities such as: getting lost in the all new “Down on the Farm” corn maze adventure, and play maize quest game.

There are a variety of activities for all ages.

Heaven Hill Farm was established in 1982, a 150-acre working farm and full- service garden center, nursery, and one of the largest outdoor furniture places in northern New Jersey.

The market includes seasonal produce, free wine tastings, daily, homemade cider donuts, baked goods and ice cream.
