    Sept. 1Hiralall Naranda, 39, of West Orange, Persaud Navindra, 26, of WEst Orange and Kimberly Baird, 23, of Landing all were charged multiple narcotics violations after a Franklin police patrol car stopped a vehicle on Main Street after residents reported the vehicle as suspicious.

    Police said Narandra, Navindra and Baird were in possession of an undisclosed amount of heroin. Police said Navindra also had an outstanding traffic warrant from WEst Orange and also allegedly operated his vehicle with a suspended license. Police said Narandra also was charged with theft after being allegedly in possession of a stolen bank checik.

    Police said they seized an undetermined amount of heroin and drug paraphernalia.

    They were all released pending an appearance in Superior Court.
