Hamburg Police Officer Jeffrey Sokolowski is credited with bringing a 42-year-old male out of a heroin overdose on Thursday, Sept. 3.

Police said when Sokolowski arrived, the victim's wife told him her husband was overdosing on heroin. Police said the victim was unresponsive before Sokolowski administered NARCAN to reverse the effects.
