After their new CD "New Audio Machine" charted on iTunes at #56 and receiving Album of the Year(The Jungle - WXAVRadio) andSong of the Year(Rockeyze Magazine) Awards, their first full-length CD in 20 years, world renowned rock group Trixter is doing it again. Frontiers/EMI Records have signed the group for worldwide distribution of their second full-length CD in more than 20 years entitled "Human Era" released this past June. But for drummer Mark Gus Scott, it just wasn't enough.

The past two years have been most eventful for the band sharing the stage with some of Rock Music's elite including Twisted Sister, Ted Nugent, Quiet Riot, Bret Michaels, Vince Neil, Cinderella, Warrant, Winger, Skid Row, Great White, Firehouse, L.A. Guns and Faster Pussycat. With more than three million albums sold worldwide, three #1 videos on MTV (15 weeks at #1), fourTop 20AOR radio hits as well as aTop 40 Album on the Billboard Charts (#16), Trixter firmly stands as VH-1's #29 Top 40 Hair Band of All Time.

Going ClassicalMark Gus Scott has just released an EP of classical music/movie soundtrack material entitled "Classical 1". The five song EP was composed, produced, and performed by Mark himself. He even got his 13-year-old son, Brandon to play electric guitar on a couple of the tracks. The EP features a full orchestral arrangement of music inspired by the #1 hit Chinese movie, "The Monkey King".

Mark has joined forces with film company Global Star Productions in bringing The Monkey King to American, Russian, African, Indian and European audiences. The film is scheduled for worldwide release in the spring of 2016. Mark's music from "Classical 1" will be featured in the film as well as in an iOS video game for use on cell phones worldwide.

A former student at the University of Hartford's Hartt School of Music and a New Jersey All-State trumpeter, Mark is no stranger to classical music.

"I was forced by my mother to take piano lessons at a very early age. It's what first introduced me to the world of classical music. Only now, after her passing, do I understand what she was trying to show me. I wish I had the opportunity to thank her once more. 'Classical 1' is dedicated to her."

Mark Gus Scott's "Classical 1" is available for preview and purchase on iTunes, Amazon, CD Baby and other major music websites. For private lessons or personal correspondence with Mark, visit www.MarkGusScott.com.
