Louis R. Millier, 67, died at his home in Hardyston Township with his loving family at his side on Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015.

Louis was born on Nov. 3, 1947 in Gourin, France to the late Francios M. and Anne Marie (nee Ruffel) Millier. Louis came to the United States in 1963 and was a resident of Queens, N.Y. and Paterson before moving to Hardyston Township in 47 years ago.

Louis was self employed and owner of the NorthChurch Excavating/A & L Millier Excavation & Septic Services for many years and retired in 2010. Louis did continuous service for the French Military Army 4th Regiment de Hussards, Besancon, France.

Louis was predeceased by a brother; Robert Millier in 2000.

Louis is survived by his loving wife, Annick M. (nee Moreau) Millier, and his three sons, Al Millier and wife Kellie, Pat Millier and wife Joni, and Frankie Millier and wife Florence, and his eight cherished grandchildren, Emily, Brianna, Carly, Ryan, Carson, Brooke, Aiden and Mason, and his brother Lucien Millier and wife Paulette, and his two nieces, Nicolle and her husband Tom, and Martine who is also his goddaughter.

Relatives and friends were received on Sunday, Aug. 16 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the F. John Ramsey Funeral Home One Main Street, Franklin and gathered at the funeral home on Monday, Aug. 17 at 9 for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial Service at St. Jude the Apostle RC Church, Hamburg, committal and interment services at North Hardyston Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Compassionate Care Hospice 350 Sparta Ave., Suite B2 Sparta, NJ would be appreciated.
