    Michael Berado of Hamburg graduated from Widener University recently with a bachelor of arts in psychology.

    Widener held commencement ceremonies on May 15 and 16 for graduate and undergraduate students recognizing those who successfully completed their studies and all necessary requirements for graduation during the summer 2014, fall 2014 and spring 2015 semesters.

    He also was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2015 semester. The dean’s list recognizes full-time students who earned a grade point average of 3.50 and above for the semester.

    Kelsey M. Katzgrau and Nicole A. Sidor Wildermuth, both of Oak Ridge recently graduated from Kutztown University.

    Kutztown University has conferred degrees on nearly 1,400 students during the winter, spring and summer terms.

    Caitlin Lavorgna of Oak Ridge will serve at Sitkans Against Family Violence in Sitka, Alaska, through the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, Northwest.

    Lavorgna graduated from Saint Joseph's University as a member of the class of 2015 with a major in sociology.

    Emily Bushey of Hamburg was named to the dean's list at Providence College for the spring 2015 semester.

    To qualify for the dean's list, students must achieve at least a 3.55 grade point average with a minimum of 12 credits.

    Amanda Hayes of Lafayette has been named to the dean's list at Frostburg University for the spring 2015 semester.

    She posted a GPA of 4.0. To be eligible for the dean's list, a student must complete a minimum of 12 credit hours and earn a cumulative semester grade point average of at least 3.4 on a 4.0 scale. Elizabeth Wakuluk of Oak Ridge was anmed to the dean's list for the spring 2015 semester at Mount St. Mary's University in Emmitsburg, Md.

    She achieved this honor by maintaining a 3.4 or higher grade point average.

    Brianna Periu of Stockholm has been named to the dean's list at Mansfield University for the spring 2015 semester.

    To be named to the dean's list, a student must attend the university full-time and earn at least a 3.5 GPA.

    Ryan Mullin of Lafayette was named to the dean's list during the spring 2015 semester at Hofstra University.

    Mullin achieved a GPA of at least 3.5 to earn a spot on the dean's list.

    Max Novak of Oak Ridge graduated from Union College on Sunday, June 14, with a bachelor of arts degree, majoring in Economics.

    Andre Remus of Oak Ridge was named to the dean's list for the spring 2015 semester at Castleton College.

    To qualify for this academic honor, the student must maintain full-time status and a semester GPA of 3.5.

    Amanda Hayes of Lafayette was named to the dean's list at Frostburg State University for the spring 2015 semester.

    To be eligible for the dean's list, a student must complete a minimum of 12 credit hours and earn a cumulative semester grade point average of at least 3.4 on a 4.0 scale.

    Emily Belmont and Stephanie Romano, both of Oak Ridge were named to the dean's list at the University of Scranton for the spring 2015 semester.

    A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours to make the dean's list.

    Romano also was honored for academic excellence, service, or both, at the school's award ceremony.

    Jake Barberea and Jessica Senny, both of Oak Ridge were named to the dean's list at the University of New Haven for the spring 2015 semester.

    Full-time undergraduate students must have a 3.50 or better cumulative GPA for the semester to be eligible for the dean's list.

    Kelly Noonan of Oak Ridge earned a bachelor's of science from Springfield College in Health Science/Occupational Therapy.

    The school recently handed out 973 bachelor's degrees at its commencement.

    Brian Wilson and Louis Nucci, both of Lafayette, Eden Roberts of Franklin, Richard Tews and Brian Delanoy, both of Oak Ridge, Desiree Ganz of Hamburg, Brian Wilson of Lafayette, Jeffrey Owens of Stockholm and Tara Fisher of Franklin participated in 2015 commmencement ceremonies at the College off New Jersey on Thursday, May 21, and Friday, May 22.

    John McKeever of Franklin was named to the Albright College dean's list for the spring 2015 semester. McKeever is a sophomore sociology/criminology major.

    Albright students had to attain at least a 3.75 term grade point average to be named to the list.

    Michael Astor of Ogdensburg, Anthony Castellucci and Dallis Guillemin, both of Stockholm, and Aaron Little of Lafayette were named to the dean's list for the spring 2015 semester at Lafayette College.

    Each student achieved at least a 3.60 semester grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

    Corrie Penraat of Lafayette was named to the dean's list with high distinction for the spring 2015 semester at Grove City College. Penraat is a freshman International Business major.

    Students eligible for the dean's list with high distinction achieve a GPA of 3.85 to 4.0.

    Jake Bakera, Justina Smith, Evan Sporer, and Tiffany Woods, all of Oak Ridge, recently graduated from the University of New Haven.

    Darielle Wilhelm of Stockholm recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in Dietetics from James Madison University.

    Wilhelm was among more than 3,500 students who received undergraduate, master's, educational specialist and doctoral degrees.

    Stephanie Khoury of Oak Ridge graduated from Ithaca College's School of Communications with a degree in Documentary Studies and Production.

    The degree was awarded in May 2015.

    Melissa Dellacato and Leandra DeVito, both of Oak Ridge, were named to the dean's list for the spring 2015 emester at Ithaca College.

    Kristina Maria Garrera of Franklin, Marissa Taryn Deoliveira and Courtney Alice Berado, both of Hamburg, and Jessika Leigh Decker of Oak Ridge were named to the dean's list at the University of Rhode Island for the spring 2015 semester.

    To be included on the dean's list, students must have completed 12 or more credits during a semester for letter grades with at least a 3.30 quality point average. Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 credits with a 3.30 quality point average.

    Taylor Anderson of Stockholm, Kathleen Flynn of Oak Ridge and Theodore Pak of Lafayette recently graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

    Anderson graduated with a BS in biomedical engineering, Flynn graduated with a cum laude and BS in information technology and web science and Pak with a BS in computer science.

    Robert Santiago of Hamburg has been inducted into the school's Phi Zeta Kappa honor society for the spring 2015 semester.

    Eligibility for membership in the University's junior honor society is established by completing at least the first 60 credits toward an undergraduate degree. Of these, 44 must have been earned at Fairleigh Dickinson and a CGPR of 3.20 must have been maintained for all of them. All the preceding requirements must have been fulfilled prior to the accumulation of 80 credits toward the undergraduate degree.

    Amanda Spence of Lafayette, Jessica Bruce and Robert Santiago, both of Hamburg were named to the honor's list at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Florham camps for the spring 2015 semester.

    To qualify for the honor's list, a student must carry a 3.5 or better grade point average out of a possible 4.0 and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 letter-graded hours.

    Alicia Grotyohann of Lafayette, Samantha Holleritter, Ivan Cruz and Lindsay Brown, all of Oak Ridge, have been named to the dean's list at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Florham Campus.

    To qualify for the dean's list, a student must carry a 3.2 or better grade point average out of a possible 4.0 and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 letter-graded hours.

    Morgan Carey of Stockholm and Emily Hollenbach of Hamburg were anmed to the dean's list at Marist College for the spring 2015 semester.

    Carey is a fashion merchandising major and Hollenbach is an English major.

    Rebecca Schulman of Franklin, Thomas Tozzi of Ogdensburg, Brianna Leahy of Lafayette, Ann Harris of Hamburg, Robert Bigott of Lafayette, Elly Delaportas of Oak Ridge, Anthony Cilento of Ogdensburg, Robert Zicarelli of Hamburg, Brad Moszkiewicz of Lafayette, Jason Parillo of Lafayette, Christine Aydos of Franklin and Kimberly Allen of Franklin recently graduated from the various campuses of Fairleigh Dickinson University.

    There were more than 3,000 graduates.

    Kimberly Allen of Franklin and Joseph Antonello of Lafayette have been named to the honor's list at Fairleigh Dickinson University.

    To qualify for the honor's list, a student must carry a 3.5 or better grade point average out of a possible 4.0 and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 letter-graded hours.

    Taylor Anderson of Stockholm, Gabriel El-Ghandour of Lafayette, Kathleen Flynn and Amanda Howanice, both of Oak Ridge, and Scott Ruppel were named to the dean's list for the spring 20115 semester at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

    The dean's list recognizes full-time students who maintain grade-point averages of a minimum of 3.0 out of a possible 4.0 and have no grades below "C."

    Susan Skaleski of Lafayette and Hannah Sporer of Oak Ridge were named to the spring 2015 semester.

    Kristen Swerzenski of Jefferson Township, Michael Tanis and Joseph Vengen, both of Oak Ridge, were named to the dean's list at Rochester institute of Technology for the spring 2015 semester.

    Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for dean's list if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.40, they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.
