SCARC plans golf outing

AUGUSTA — The 2015 Pat Romano Sr. Memorial Golf Outing is scheduled for Sept. 16 at two courses in the area, Newton County Club and Farmstead Golf and Country Club.

The Newton Country Club is reserved for corporate sponsors only, and begins with a 10 a.m. shotgun start. Soft spikes are only to be orn and golf attire is required.

Registration and breakfast will begin at 8:30 a.m. There will be a barbecue lunch on the course.

Farmstead Golf and Country Club is reserved for individual golfers and basic foursome packages.

The tournament will start at 9:30 a.m. with a shotgun start and will be played in a scramble format. Soft spikes and golf attire are required.

Registration and breakfast will begin at 7:45 a.m. and there will be barbecue lunch on the course.

Dinner will be served at Perona Farms Restaurant in Andover. Additional dinner reservations can be purchased for $180 per guest.

The dress code is business casual for dinenr with a cocktail reception beginning at 3:30 p.m. and a buffet dinner and awards program beginning at 5 p.m.
