Garick RV to host Open House event

OAK RIDGE — Garick RV in Oak Ridge will be celebrating both a grand opening as well as its annual an open house event from Thursday, April 23 through Saturday, April 25.

"It is a new part of our service department," Garick’s sales manager Terry Sampson explained. "We previously had the store but it just sold the mechanical parts and things like that. It didn't have all the fun accessories that people want to enhance their new RVs."

EnhancementsThere are different types of enhancements that can help people turn their metaphoric home on the road into home sweet home.

"These things are accessories," Sampson explained. "They are awnings and mattresses and lights and other additions like that. These are things that people like to add on but they are not necessities. They are things that make them more fun to use."

In addition to the new department, there will also be an open house.

"There will be seminars regarding spring commissioning and what needs to be done to get things ready for springtime," Sampson said.

A closer lookThe open house will also allow locals to get a closer look at RVs.

"Every one of our RVs will be open," said Sampson. "It is a chance for people to browse. All of the salespeople and expert consultants will be on hand to help them decide if its right for them. There will also be good deals that would make it a good time to make that final decision."

“There will be door prizes as well as free food,” Sampson said. “These events are usually a lot of fun. It is a chance for people to look at what we have to offer and just enjoy the camaraderie. People that like to camp, like to be around it.”
