    Stephanie Villareal, 27, was sentenced to two years of probation, 79 days credit for time served in jail and to pay $1,210 in fines.

    She pleaded guilty on June 30 to the third-degree crime of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance.

    She admitted to selling heroin to an individual cooperating with the Sussex County Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force on May 12 in Newton.

    Ryan Forbeck, 27, of Sussex Borough was sentenced to two years of probation, 78 days credit for time served in jail and $155 in fines.

    He pleaded guilty on June 30 to the third-degree crime of theft.

    He admitted to taking money from the person of the victim in Newton on March 11. The matter was investigated by Newton Police Officer J. Annibale.

    Jhessyca Owens, 25, of Newton was sentenced to four years in state prison with 20 months of parole ineligibility, 121 days credit for time served in jail, $1,455 in fines and restitution to the victim.

    She pleaded guilty on June 30, 2014, to the third-degree crimes of theft and distribution of a controlled dangerous substance and to the fourth-degree crime of shoplifting.

    She admitted to selling 10 bags of heroin to an individual cooperating with the Sussex County Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force on Feb. 26, 2014, in Newton and to taking money from the person of the victim on March 11, 2014, in Newton. She also admitted to taking items without paying for them from the Walmart in Franklin on April 8.

    Aug. 11
    Brandon Walsh 26, of Bayonne was sentnced to three years of probation, 35 days credit for time served, $2,385 in fines and a 6-month loss of driver's license.

    He pleaded guilty on July 7 to two counts of the third-degree crime of possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

    He admitted to possessing 20 bags of heroin and four vials of cocaine on July 30, 2013, in Sparta during the course of a motor vehicle stop by Sparta Corporal Marc Rubino.

    Christopher Mills, 34, of Hopatcong pleaded guilty to the third-degree crime of possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

    Sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 19.

    He admitted to possessing heroin during the course of a motor vehicle stop by Hopatcong Police Officer W. Sutphen on May 17, 2014.

    Mills was represented by Kevin McLaughlin, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Jerome P. Neidhardt.

    Anthony D. Robinson, 24, of East Stroudsburg, Pa., pleaded guilty to the second-degree crime of unlawful possession of a weapon.

    Sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 10.

    He admitted to unlawfully possessing a .22 caliber Ruger Mark II during the course of a motor vehicle stop by Byram Police Officer D. DeWald.

    Aug. 13
    Dwayne Johnson, 42, of Neward was sentenced to 5 1/2 years in state prison, 31 months of parole ineligibility, 774 days credit for time served in jail, $1,205 in fines and a 6-month loss of his driver's license.

    He pleaded guilty on June 30 to the third-degree crime of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance.

    He admitted to selling cocaine to an individual cooperating with the Sussex County Guns, Gangs and Narcotics Task Force on March 14, 2012, in Wantage.

    Aug. 18
    Quentin J. Nicolai, 41, of Hamburg pleaded guilty to the third-degre crimes of burglary and possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

    Sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 3.

    He admitted that on April 8 he entered a barn that did not belong to him and began to pick up copper, which he intended to sell for scrap. When arrested, he possessed 10 bags with trace amounts of heroin in them in his car. The matter was investigated by Trooper D. Thomas of the New Jersey State Police.

    Kayla Talmadge, 21, of Sussex pleaded guilty to the third-degree crime of possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

    She admitted to possessing several Xanax tablets without a prescription on July 12 in Franklin. The matter was investigated by Franklin Police Officer Jesse Babcock.
