On Thursday, Aug. 21 at 7 p.m., Raconteur Radio presents Sherlock Holmes: The Final Problem at the Jefferson Township Public Library.

In this unique and original radio play, Holmes asks Watson to accompany himm on a roundabout Continental "holiday" designed to thwart the relentless pursuit of Professor Moriarty. Period costumes, vintage commercials, theatrical lighting and sound effects are all part of the fun.

Laurence Mintz, a founding member of Raconteur Radio portrays Professor Moriarty, and Carlyle Owens, a classically trained Shakespearean actor, is Sherlock Holmes. The Jefferson Township Library is located at 1031 Weldon Road, Oak Ridge.

The program is free, and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served afterwards. Register at www.jeffersonlibrary.net, or call 973-208-6244.
