Members of Dance Expression competed at the Dance Xplosion National Dance and Talent competition in July in Wildwood.

Xtreme Platinum, Platinum and overall high score awards.

Grease won xtreme platinum in the musical theatre jazz production number. "Party People" won xtreme platinum and fifth overall for Teen Large Group Jazz. It also won the the Excaliber Award for Xccelerated Teen Group and the "Classy Clean" Special Award.

"Blessings" won a platinum award in the Teen Large Group Modern in the Teen Xccelrated Division and an Excaliber Award for choreography.

"Prelude" won an xtreme platinum in the Xtreme Teen Large Group Modern.

"Outside the Box" won an xtreme platinum in the senior large group contemporary division and the Modern & Ballet Technique Award.

Taylor Wade of Wantage and Kristen Winkler of Hamburg won an extreme platinum and finished seventh overall for "Applause" in the Xtreme Teen Jazz Duet category.

"All the Trees in the Fields" won an extreme platinum award in the Xtreme Small Group Modern category.

"Trouble and Woe" won a platinum award in the Xtreme Small Group Lyical category and the Lovely Lines Special Award.

Lauren Morris and Elijah Velez of Wantage finished first overall in the Xccelerated Teen Hip Hop Duet and won a platinum award.

Dylan VonderLinden of Vernon won a platinum and first overall in the Xccelerated Senior Modenr Solo. He also won the Emotional Commitment Special Award.

Jillian Henderson of Sparta and Kristina Henderson of Wantage won a platinum award in the Xtreme Teen Modern Duet category and the Flow and Grace Special Award for "No More Tears."

"Nice in Nice" won a platinum and finished second overall in the Junior Large Group Jazz category. The group also won the Terrific Transitions Special Award.
