Nicole Donatone will appear in the 2014 free summer concert series on Friday, Aug. 1, at the gazebo, located in the Jefferson Township Municipal Complex, 1033 Weldon Road, beginning at 7 p.m.

The concert will be sponsored by the Jefferson Arts Committee.

With a voice that has been compared to the legendary Patsy Cline, this country girl has a unique talent and a strong voice as she sings her own original songs and those of famous female country vocalists including LeAnn Rimes, Shania Twain, Carrie Underwood, Faith Hill, and more. Donatone has earned opening act status for stars including Willie Nelson, Randy Travis and Keith Urban. She was recently quoted as saying, "Music gets me through every day. It influences who I am. It's the puzzle pieces of my life: the good, the bad, happy and sad."

Attendees are asked to bring a blanket or chair for their comfort; and non-alcoholic beverages, picnic dinners, and snacks are permitted on the grounds unless the concert is moved indoors due to weather conditions. In the event inclement weather, the concert will be moved indoors to the Jefferson Township High School auditorium, 1010 Weldon Road.
