Franklin suffered a 5-3 loss to Mount Morris in the last regular American Legion baseball game at Wallkill Valley High School.

Franklin was scheduled to play in the first round of playoffs on Saturday, July 19, in Union County.

Franklin finished the regular season, 11-9. Morris is 17-3.
