Pit Stop Challenge planned for Jefferson Day

Motorsports professional and former NASCAR driver Bruce Sibel will make a special appearance at Jefferson Township Day’s Arts’ Karts Derby Race on Saturday, July 12.

Sibel will bring a tire-changing machine from his race school in order to host a Pit Stop Challenge that is open to anyone older than 18 from 10:30 a.m. to noon. No pre-registration is necessary, and participants will be timed taking a tire-off a simulator and putting it back on to the tire-change machine. Sibel also will be bring his race car which will be on display.

The Pit Stop Challenge, the race car, and Sibel will all be in the front area of the Jefferson Township High School, 1010 Weldon Road, Oak Ridge, NJ with members of the Jefferson Arts Committee for this exciting event for people of all ages.
