Jefferson Arts Committee plans chili contest

OAK RIDGE — The Jefferson Arts Committee will sponsor a chili contest on July 12 for Jefferson Day.
Cook a batch and bring a 1-quart container of warm chili and pre-register by 2 p.m. with a $5 registration fee. Go to the area in front of the main stage on the field of the Jefferson Township High School field to sign in and fill out an entry form.
All chili entries will be judged by an impartial group of judges and a winner will be declared and a prize awarded after the Hot Dog Eating Contest is over at approximately 4 p.m.
