State champion gymnast

Samantha Locker Lopesof Hardyston, left, competed earlier this month at the USAIGC NJ championship at Wildwood. She became state champion on the uneven bars in the silver division with a 9.50 score and finished 3rd place in the all around. She recently competed at Regionals, also in Wildwood, and became regional champion on the uneven bars and balance beam. She finished second in the all around. She will compete at the USAIGC World Championship in Orlando, Fla., at the end of June. Lopes competes for US Gym II in Mahwah. Good Luck Sam!
