Renowned Yogi Phillip Askew to teach two classes

Slav Iaroland Yoga presents Phillip Askew: A Master Class and Arm Balance & Backbending Workshop on Sunday, May 4 at RDA Fitness in Stanhope.

Askew, a renowned New York City based instructor will return to Sussex County to teach two classes. The event starts at 10:30 a.m. with a two-hour master class of his favorite Vinyasa moves including core work, twists, inversions, hip and heart openers. The second class starts at 1 p.m. and is a two-hour workshop that will focus on arm balances and backbending techniques.

Students have the option of attending both classes for $70 or choosing one for $40. Both classes are open to all levels.

Askew, known for his light-heartedness and Southern charm, has captivated yogis all over the world. His instruction will guide students towards improving the balance between strength and flexibility.
