The Wallkill Valley Regional High School Chapter of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) hosted a Senior Citizens’ Prom on April 11 in the high school cafeteria from 6-9 p.m.

About 100 senior citizens attended.

The Prom Committee solicited food donations from the members and the local business community, including Newton Weis, Sparta Stop ‘n Shop, Franklin ShopRite, and Mr. and Mrs. Art Lietz.

The cafeteria was decorated in a ‘50s Sock Hop theme.

Samantha McCurry served as chairperson and 31 additional FBLA members assisted and participated at the event. FBLA parents Sandy McCurry and Kathy McKenna provided a tremendous amount of service in assisting chapter members.
