Franklin Boy Scouts visit USS Intrepid

    Members of Franklin Troop 90 went on a trip to the U.S.S. Intrepid Air & Space Museum in New York City on Jan. 4.

    "On Saturday, January 4th, the members and leaders of Franklin Boy Scout Troop 90 took an educational and entertaining trip to the USS Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in New York City. They toured the USS Intrepid Aircraft Carrier, saw the Enterprise Space Shuttle, and the USS Growler Submarine. They toured the Aircraft Collection, the Museum Collection, rode a flight simulator, and watched an informative movie about those who served on the Intrepid.

    Franklin Boy Scout Troop 90 serves the Wallkill Valley Community and meets on Monday evenings at 7pm at the Franklin Senior Center.
