Lafayette Federated Church to present Easter musical

LAFAYETTE — The Lafayette Federated Church will present its Easter Musical, "The Risen Christ," on Friday, April 4, and Saturday, April 5, at 7 p.m., and Sunday, April 6 at 6 p.m.

"The Risen Christ" features the music of Keith and Kristyn Getty and Stuart Townend, who are contemporary hymn writers known for such songs as "The Power of the Cross" and "In Christ Alone." The musical will be performed by the Celebration Choir and Orchestra under the direction of Pastor Nick Bailey, along with actors portraying Jesus, Peter, John and Mary and will tell the story of the ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

All are invited and the concert is free of charge, although a free will offering will be taken. Refreshments will be served after the Sunday performance. The Lafayette Federated Church is located at 180 Route 15, Lafayette, N.J. For questions, please contact the church office at 973-383-4461.
