Jefferson plans handbag bingo

    The Jefferson Arts Committee host its third annual bingo fundraiser event on Friday, May 2, 2014, featuring designer Coach and Vera Bradley items.

    The event will be held utilizing both cafeterias of the Jefferson Township High School, 1010 Weldon Road in Milton/Oak Ridge with the doors opening at 5:30 p.m. with calling to begin promptly at 7 p.m.

    The $20 per person admission includes three boards for each of the 20 games offering 60 chances to win; and if attendees wish, they can purchase additional packets of bingo boards that night for $10 each. However, add $5 to an advance reservation to pre-order an extra packet of bingo boards giving you an extra 60 chances to win! Daubers will be available for purchase or feel free to bring your own as only ink daubers can be used on the game sheets.

    In addition, there will be Coach and Vera Bradley Specials; a Tricky Tray with gifts every woman would love including designer accessories; and the Wheel of Chance for even more chances to win more designer bags including Kate Spade, Dooney & Bourke, Michael Kors and more. Tricky Tray, Specials, and “Wheel” tickets will be sold separately that evening.

    Reserved seating is required as seating is limited. Print out a reservation form at www.facebook.com/JACBingo and like the page while you’re there; pick up a form from the display racks at the Jefferson Township Municipal Building, Public Library, or the Recreation office at Camp Jefferson; or email coachverab@yahoo.com Mail your reservation and check payable to the Jefferson Arts Committee by April 4 to be eligible for a special Early Bird raffle drawing. No one under 18 will be admitted, and tables for up to six can be reserved.

    Sandwiches and salads for a light dinner, snacks, soda and water will be available for purchase; and there will be complimentary coffee, tea, and dessert. No coolers or alcoholic beverages are allowed.
